Mechanic / Service Engineer
We are currently looking for Mechanics / Service Engineers whose tasks will include performing inspections and repairs of shipboard equipment both domestically and in shipyards or ports around the world. Your international trips will always be carefully planned and coordinated to ensure comfortable working and resting conditions, as well as a smooth transition between projects. Our logistics team and technical assistants will always be available to provide support with organization and communication at the destination. However, before that happens, we will provide you with a training package conducted by our experienced engineers, so that you can smoothly and confidently adapt to new challenges and the working environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections, verifying the technical condition, and performing maintenance of hydraulic systems on floating units
- Performing repairs and replacements of steering machine parts and other onboard equipment, including cranes, winches, and anchor windlasses
- Conducting tests, pressure trials, and participating in equipment startups
- Preparing service reports containing descriptions of the performed work
- Frequent domestic and international trips
What You Need for This Role:
- Professional experience in the field of mechanics (e.g., agricultural machinery, trucks, etc.) and/or working with large machinery
- Ability to work with documentation, including the ability to read technical drawings
- Availability and readiness for foreign trips
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Willingness to learn and improve under the guidance of experienced service engineers
- Category B driving license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Shipyard/service experience related to the repair or installation of onboard equipment
- Knowledge of issues related to hydraulic drive systems
- Mechanical and/or technical education
